The Elm Church was planted as a Gospel-Living, Relational, City-Positive, and Multiplying church for the neighborhood of Elmhurst in New York City

Elmhurst is in the heart of Queens, NY, the most ethnically diverse urban area in the world. More than 150 languages are spoken here. The nations are gathered here. The opportunity to reach the world is here.

Gospel Living - The gospel of Christ gives us hope and acceptance so that we can be vulnerable with other people. Vulnerability is necessary to boldly form healthy communities with other people.

Relational - We meet people where they are and walk with them. We do life together. Our people and our relationships are the mission.

City Positive - We love our city and our neighbors. Our neighborhood’s thriving is our thriving. It’s drawing our lives into their lives, and their lives into ours.

Multiplying - To serve the vast needs of Elmhurst, we are committed to empowering, equipping, and encouraging new gospel initiatives, and those who lead them.
